About
The best of America is just off the highway. Most of us drive right past it.
Every road has two versions. There's the one the map shows: a line, an ETA, a chain of gas stations. And there's the real one — the third-generation smokehouse two minutes off the exit, the swimming hole behind the cypress trees, the town square that explains why the town exists at all.
We built Trypsy because the second version kept losing. Not because drivers don't want it — but because finding it used to mean staring at a phone, and nobody should be doing that at 70 miles an hour.
Trypsy is a copilot, not another screen. You talk to it. It talks back — with local history, roadside trivia, and only the stops rated 4.0 stars or better, confirmed open before it ever says a word. Local businesses that have earned their reputations get discovered; drivers get somewhere worth stopping; and the same-everywhere chains can fend for themselves.
We're starting where we live: the Texas Hill Country and the Austin corridors, launching with a small group of Founding Members and Founding Merchants who will shape the product with us.
